Yes, it has been a year since I last updated, but I'm not good at keeping up with these things. Our family is growing up quickly. We had a beautiful sunrise service where Jon spoke Easter Morning, then a relaxing breakfast with our church family at Plainfield Christian School. We are so blessed to serve a risen Saviour!
Of course, I have to add a mushy one, because I'm love my being in love with my amazing husband! It has been almost 13 years now, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
In the afternoon, we got together with the Tarter relatives for lunch and a Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. We missed my sister Deirdre and her girls as she has spent most Easters with us since she had them, but we are looking forward to seeing them soon.
Here is Cole enjoying himself. Thankfully, we have a great set of grandparents who don't just fill the eggs with candy, but put $ in a lot of the eggs. Whoo Hoo! The kids were excited with that, AND SO WERE MOM AND DAD! It was a great day with family and fun. So glad God has blessed us with having family around. If a few of my siblings were nearby, that would be fun, but I guess there are to many of us spread far and wide for that to ever happen. :)
